We have stayed at Tamara's house many times and it's always been great. The location is very private and backs right to the desert. Borreggo is a cute little town with a couple good restaurants and a grocery store. Everything we've ever needed. We'll defiantly be back next year and many more I'm sure.

Like all the other reviewers, we found this place awesome, largely because of the beautiful surroundings. It was clean, lots of nice towels, comfortable beds, and well-stocked kitchen. Would definitely stay here again.

Another great stay in such a beautiful location with a fantastic host-Tamara is very friendly and responsive to any questions and issues. And that location cannot be beat—we were lucky enough to be there at the start of the “super bloom” this year. Staying here always feels like “coming home”—we run into the same people on ABDNHA activities and on the trails every year. So much to see and do in the area. We’ll definitely be back!

The pool and spa were wonderful. The house and beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood was really pretty. I could walk out of the home and be on a desert trail in no time. My only complaints were very low water pressure in the master bathroom and the guest bedroom did not have any side tables or lamps - just an overhead light. The owner said she would fix both of these. The outside pool area could be cleaned up a bit. Overall a very nice experience.

We stayed 6 nights, and it was glorious! After hiking and birding all day, it was a treat to return to the house and enjoy the comfortable space. The kitchen is well stocked if you like to cook, like we do, and the family room is an excellent space to settle in for tea, reading, or a movie. The sound system was an extra bonus. The backyard is wonderful and we had our morning coffee with the birds. We also ventured into the desert from the backyard, which was super fun. Thanks Tamara, for creating and sharing such a great space. We hope to be back next year!
