Me and some friends stayed at the lodge to celebrate my birthday and we had the best time! We spent the days at Alton Towers (which was a 10minute drive away) and the evenings chilling by the fire and in the hot tub, it was perfect. The hosts were very friendly and always prompt to reply. I would definitely stay here again!

The location was beautiful and the lodge was immaculately clean. The log burner fire and hot tub were a lovely touch, couldn't recommend any more highly.

Thanks again to Watson and Leon for a great stay. This was our second time visiting as a group, and again we were really grateful for friendly, helpful responses, and a lovely space to stay. The place itself is lovely, and has what you need to just enjoy some time out - but if you do want to explore, there are lots of lovely walks from the doorstep, with great cafes / pubs / restaurants close by. It was also close for us to visit Alton Towers and Peak Wildlife Park with the kids, and then to travel to visit more of the Peak District villages and towns.
