I definitely enjoyed my stay here. If you are a Tolkien fan, then it is a must-see. It's not as big as you might think, but then again it's a Hobbit house. The bed was very comfortable and it has all the amenities that you might expect. They have an open wifi, so have a VPN. If there are any drawbacks, I wish the bathroom had better drainage after a shower. Water goes all over the floor, so have shower shoes. The main cafe is right next door, so keep that in mind as well. Overall, my experience there was very positive and I think I'd like to return and visit some of the other cabins they have all around the property.

Stayed for one night in the The Hobbit and it was an interesting and unique space, with a firm bed, good sound insulation and a decent bathroom. There isn’t much light, as you’d expect. More surprising was that it is so close to the restaurant (and restaurant toilets), rather than secluded in the forest as I had (mistakenly) supposed. The front porch area could do with some maintenance perhaps. BBQ in the restaurant was very tasty! The manager was very nice, too.

The place was beautiful and very warm even in the middle of winter. Right in the top corner of the Soc Son area, very quiet, with pine forest behind and view of the valley below. Also a great restaurant next door which lets you use their BBQ.

The house is at scenic as it gets. Sometimes a bit noisy outside if there is any party, the house could offer a wider variety of food (specially vegetarian)
