I was not sure what to expect as have not been in England for the last four years but when I saw the home it was a no brainer made the right choice,, getting there, I was easy ,I was welcomed with warm greetings by Amanda & Simon the driveway is breathtaking panoramic green views all around like you are arriving into your own Palace. The Airbnb is so peaceful., outstanding. Super cosy I love the wood fireplace , the bed was so comfortable & cosy I would recommend it to anyone who wants a break from the city lifestyle .We got on that well. That I was honoured, to hosts a asian dinner, party for Amanda and her neighbours as Bing a chef is my passion, which was phenomenal, sensational, amazing food with amazing company, all the neighbours were so friendly and lovely I had so much fun definitely coming back what a pleasant surprise 10/10 to the house and the beautiful property Amanda thank you for everything & your kind heart, 💫✨💚🙏🏿

Such a lovely stay at The Stables! Thank you so much for having us. A well needed R&R, with beautiful walks and a cosy cottage vibe. Tennis was so much fun. Amanda was great, welcoming & friendly! Honey cake was wonderful - thank you. We will be back!

Spacious, well designed accommodation with a great shower and bath and super comfortable king sized bed. Communications from Amanda were extremely useful prior to our stay and she was a very friendly host, greeting us on arrival with her lovely dogs. We would definitely recommend staying here!

The cottage was easy to find according to the instructions. Greeted by Amanda and her dogs, who were all very friendly. We had an afternoon of walks by the river. There is a lot to explore! And it’s right outside the property. The cottage is a barn conversion. Very spacious and spotlessly clean. Very well equipped. Very private, peaceful and quiet. The only downside was the beam in the bedroom, which you get used to. Also for us oldies, we found the settee a bit uncomfortable as it was so low and soft. But not a big deal. We’ve stayed in quite a few cottages and this one definitely rated as one of the best, especially location and friendly hosts.
