The property is about a 1km drive up a steep, bumpy, unsurfaced road, but we didn’t mind that as the views at the top are as impressive as the pictures suggest. Once there, Lucia (whose communication was excellent throughout) welcomed us and showed us the property, including giving us a handy guide on local restaurants, many of which are within a 15 min drive. Our personal favourite was Osteria de L'Acquolina. Highlight for us was the pool. Despite it being a little chilly, our 4 & 8 year old kids loved it and we had it largely to ourselves for the 3 days we stayed. The cottage itself is charming from the outside, but it felt small on the inside for a family of four, especially as the living room was taken up by our suitcase (…limited storage options for unpacking clothes etc and so we lived out of our case). In addition the furniture and furnishings felt tired and in need of upgrading, and so as a result of these two things, we struggled to find the spaces to relax when in the property. You also need to be someone who is comfortable with nature. The beautiful garden is an absolute haven for bees and butterflies which was lovely, but you also need to dodge the many piles of rabbit (?) droppings and marching ants when enjoying the area around the property, harmless, but maybe not everyone’s cup of tea. I’d also add that you need to be prepared for mosquitos. We all got badly bitten, and with no mosquito nets over the beds, you need to come prepared with sprays etc. Overall, personally speaking the property didn’t work for us as a family of four. Can’t take away that this is an incredible spot with amazing views, lovely pool and great to be amongst nature, but the price indicates that you’re getting a level of comfort that we found to be lacking.

Lucia è una vera signora. Ti accoglie con la sua eleganza, tale e quale al posto dove abbiamo soggiornato. Un posto che toglie il conformismo, che ti porta a contatto con una natura stupenda dove quiete e cultura sono punti cardine. Bello, 8 giorni sono sembrati due settimane. Bello.

It was a very nice stay at Lucia's place. A little piece of heaven in Tuscany. Ideal for a relaxing vacay.

Cadre idyllique inspirant calme et quiétude. Situé à une heure de Sienne et une heure de Florence (un peu éloigné ). La propriété compte plusieurs logements, ce qui n’a toutefois pas d’impact sur l’espace privatif autour de la maison, qui reste très grand et très agréable. Seul réel point négatif de notre séjour : présence de toiles d’araignées (et d’araignées) dans la maison. Pour le reste nous recommandons vivement ce logement
