My Girlfriend and I enjoyed 2 nights at Marie and Harry’s for her birthday. We immediately fell in love with the home and the property it’s nestled on. Our highlight was the tea we shared on the front porch in the mornings and the views over the water. The fully equipped kitchen was a major bonus as we love to cook. Marie and harry were extremely welcoming and we would definitely stay again!

Marie and Harry were great hosts, friendly, responsive. They live next door and it is very apparent they love where they live on The banks of the St. John River. The kitchen is well equipped, even had extra spices for cooking. The beds were super comfortable and bedding very soft. The bathroom was one of the cleanest I've seen in a short term rental. Plenty of towels, even towels and robes for the hot tub, which as a treat. The cabin a tastefully decorated too. Harry brought us extra firewood when he noticed we spent time sitting by the outdoor fire pit. We enjoyed the feathered friends too: bald eagles, cedar waxwings, chickadees and a night visit from the woodcock. The other really special thing about this place was its location for the Total Solar Eclipse 2024! We had our own private viewing area right in the yard with a big sky area overlooking the river. Highly recommend this special place.

Marie and Harry are remarkable hosts. Their cabin was peaceful, relaxing and exactly what we needed to recharge our batteries. A perfect getaway!
