This cabin was amazing. My only wish is that we had more time there. The cabin is very thoughtfully furnished and had amenities that were appreciated. Very clean and peaceful. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, pans, etc. The wood burning stove is an amazing feature. The property is great to walk around. The host vas very friendly and responded quickly to questions. I would definitely come back here if we are back in the area.
The cabin was cozy, so beautiful and comfortable. The views were amazing. This was a great cabin; clean, fresh and welcoming! Had a great stay with my husband and we can't wait to come back.
Great stay as usual, we have been 5 years & will continue to come back as long as we are able. Great place with lots of relaxing things to do, kayak was a lot of fun.

Wife to one of the hardest working dudes around, mother to my 3 favorite people and an active and outdoor enthusiast, we have made Chanute our home for 7 years. If I'm not teaching group fitness classes, coaching swim team, making something or managing the Blue Door Cabin, you might find me tinkering with the next creative project. We enjoy sharing our unique outdoor space with friends and guests and have made many family memories at the Blue Door Cabin property. We are committed to loving people well and finding ways to make our community better, kinder, more unified.
