Loved my time at Lunga. A beautiful estate and lovely lodge with everything me and the dog needed for a peaceful trip away. My only complaint.... I couldn't stay longer

There is no where quite as beautiful and peaceful as Lunga. Sea Shell Lodge was perfect.

Brilliant find surrounded by a beautiful location. Such a peaceful area. If you want to go out for a meal make sure you book well in advance.

Seashell Lodge is nestled in the most picturesque location, deep within the Lunga Estate (over an hr from Lochgilphead, not in it!) There are numerous stunning little beaches a stones throw away from the lodge & great views! I would highly recommend a horse ride from Lunga stables to really appreciate the surroundings (top notch horses, so not for novices). The lodge is a LONG way from ANYTHING so bring EVERYTHING you will need for your stay. Cooking facilities are good. There is no WiFi so u need to upgrade data if u want to remain connected. The £10 electricity provided on arrival doesn’t stretch for one week, so bare in mind u may have to buy a top up card from the Lunga Estate at some stage during your stay. The sauna didn’t work when we were there, but the owner did compensate us for this & endeavour to get it working whilst we were there. The decking is a bit rough round the edges, so be careful with bare feet as we did get splinters. Lovely but v v remote.
