The cabin was good. I'd have to give the bed a falling grade as it was uncomfortably soft. I need a medium-firm bed at least. My wife can handle a soft bed but she also thought it was too soft. It was clean. We had to bring our own linens. I would recommend Helen provide Purlin Linens. They are the new single-use and single- guest use linens. So guests would be getting new super-soft linens that no one will ever use after them. Since she charges for linens if she provides them she could provide Prurlin Linens and still charge, but provide better and high quality linens.

Helen was a great host. she told us the history of her family and the land. Very interesting. She was always there if needed.

We chose the place secondary to the high reviews and they were spot on. Mrs. Helen was very friendly, very accommodating and full of local information. She even invited us to hymnal singing but unfortunately we were unable to attend due to being worn out by sun. The cabin was private, no one around, and our two dogs enjoyed walking the area. The water was low which we were not surprised because of no rain and our Texas heat, but the swimming hole across the street was great! We enjoyed every day we were there. We would definitely want to stay again!

We had a great time. The Concan swimming hole was walking distance, the river is also walking distance from the cabin, my dogs and my daughter loved it! Helen was also a great host she was available at any time.
