Francine has a lovely gite within the confines of the farm. I wanted peace and quiet, and I wanted a self-contained place to stay. This met my needs perfectly. Francine was a helpful host and she runs a dairy-based shop, just downstairs from the apartment. Excellent. Monchy is 10 miles from Arras but this is an easy drive. Arras is very pretty and is brilliantly connected to the major cities. I travelled to Paris for the day. A 55 minute train journey to Gare du Nord. This is a good place for singles or couples. Roy

Had a great weekend at the cottage, arrived Friday afternoon after a 1.5 hour drive from Calais, nice peaceful location, took a day drip to Paris from arras station which was only 25 minute drive from the cottage, and visited a berck beach 1.5 hour drive from the cottage, very welcoming host, and shops not to far from location, all amenities were great, plenty of things available for a pleasant stay, would recommend.

Zeer vriendelijke en aangename host Francine. Accomodatie was zeer goed in orde. Rondleiding in de melkerij was zeer leerrijk voor onze dochter. Arras (op 15min) is mooi met veel eetgelegenheden. Lekkere eigen bereide producten te koop bij Francine.

Gîte agréable dans un cadre campagnard calme, avec des hôtes accueillants. Possibilité d'achat de produits fermiers.

Our stay at Francine's was perfect. Great location for our needs. We were visiting a relative who died during WW1 and visited other Great War locations. Francine is an excellent host. On the plus side, she has a small shop which sells local eggs, dairy and the best chocolate mousse and tiramisu!!! We had a fantastic stay.
