小玉 is perhaps one of the nicest and hospitable host I’ve ever met through my multiple Airbnb stay. She went out of her way to pick us up from the nearest train station though the Airbnb was relatively easy to find through the map. She’s a proactive host who will ask for our convenient mode of communication and our itinerary so that she could suggest places she, as a local would recommend. It was our first time visiting Kaohsiung and she really exceeded our expectation. Brought my mum along with us and even my mum was really happy with the place, amenities and stay. Thank you, 小玉 for going above and beyond. I would definitely recommend this listing to those who are looking for a place to stay in Kaohsiung!

The place was sparkling clean and stylish with very thoughtful touches such as hangers, little plants in the toilet, and a balcony to hang washed clothes. The hosts were super helpful and keep checking up on us, even after we left Taiwan. If I ever go to Kaohsiung again I would definitely stay here again. 小玉的地方超級無敵乾淨，室內設計也很漂亮。我們是一家五口出遊，小朋友看到室內的裝潢也一直在喊好漂亮好漂亮。家裏還有杯盤餐具都可以用，也可以洗衣服，還有地方晾衣服。然後小玉人真的超好，跟她很好聊，回香港也還有聯繫。下次來台灣一定還會選這裏住的！

這裡不論是舒適度跟整潔度，真的是入住以來最棒的一間！裝修風格超級超級喜歡，地點就在六合夜市旁，離地鐵站特別近，位置機能非常好，每次到高雄都會回訪，和房東像家人般的親近，房間佈置和小禮物很溫馨，完全就像住在自己家裡一樣，很完美！感謝房東這次帶我們去吃好吃的海產店跟超級棒的牛肉麵哦！如果要對這裡評分的話，絕對是超過一百分！

We stayed a total of 6 nights at 小玉's place. We opted for a quad room. The room was small, but very clean and tidy. The bedsheets were white, and of the quality one can find in decent hotels. The mattresses were a bit too soft for the three adults, but the teenager in our midst love it!! The bathroom and toilet were both very clean and hygienic. It was the first few days of February, and we were not provided the remote controller for the air cond. When we asked, we were provided a stand fan instead. Good enough, although it took up space in the already-so-tight room. There is a coin-operated washer that stops operating after 11 pm. It gives residents a lot of peace for a good night rest. There is limited space on the clothes line at the common balcony, especially since it may take more than 24 hours to dry clothes with the early February temperatures. We used 小玉's washer, and packed our cleaned clothes to dry to the nearby 24-hour laundry with both coin-operated washers and dryers. Just a few minutes walk away. Location wise, 小玉's place is very convenient. Just a few minutes walk in one direction takes one to the beautiful Formosa Boulevard MTR station (美丽岛捷运站), and a few minutes walk in the opposite direction brings one to Kaohsiung Main Train Station. (The Kaohsiung Main Train Station is not to be confused with the Zuoying HSR station in Kaohsiung, the final stop for the high speed trains to and from Taipei.) Around the corner from 小玉's place is a 7-Eleven store, and numerous eateries. The 六合夜市 night market is also within a few minutes walk. Despite the convenience, the place was very quiet and peaceful for a good night sleep. 小玉 is a great host - very friendly, helpful and caring. We only saw her once when we checked in, but she constantly keeps in touch through messenger. She asked of our itinerary, and would offer information and additional input. On our last night stay, a group of noisy guests checked in, quarrelling up to midnight. We did not complain, but 小玉 knew of the ruckus the next morning and was very apologetic for having hosted a group of noise-makers. I have no hesitation in recommending 小玉's place to those visiting Kaohsiung. She is someone you can depend on for advice. Thank you, 小玉.
