Our stay at Helgi, Helga, and Felix's place was absolutely fantastic. Not only was the cabin cozy, warm, and welcoming, but Helga and Helgi were also very kind and even offered us a lift twice! Felix was also such a delight, the cutest little cat! The area was good - pretty close to the city center, but also a variety of hikes. We can definitely recommend this stay!

Perhaps my greatest Airbnb stay ever. I very much consider this place my home. We couldn't have asked for more with regard to the place itself as well as how wonderful Helga and Helgi were. But a place like this and a couple like them go way beyond tangibles. It was magic. And we couldn't recommend this place more.

Great location, very close to Reykjavík and many sights. Not entirely clean or comfortable - excessive pet hair all over bed linens, dirt/dust on floor. Every single surface cluttered with decor, very beautiful, but hard to settle into the space. NO SHOWER - just a tub with a shower hose which made cleaning off extremely difficult and uncomfortable. No wash cloths, tissues, wifi did not work. An affordable stay, but hoped for a bit more.

Coziest apartment ever! The neighborhood is residential and very quiet, but bustling Reykjavik and all it's attractions are only a short drive away. Helga was amazing with her recommendations of places to go, and I am in love with Felix, the airbnb manager (aka the resident cat).

Helga ist eine sehr nette Gastgeberin, die immer gut zu erreichen war und hilfreiche Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt auf Island geben konnte. Die Unterkunft gefiel uns auch sehr gut, da sie gemütlich eingerichtet war und den Bildern entsprach. Sie befindet sich nur 15-20 min von Reykjavik entfernt. Unser besonderes Highlight war der liebe Felix. Die Katze von Helga kam regelmäßig zu uns rüber, um sich Kuscheleinheiten abzuholen. Insgesamt haben wir also durchweg Positives von der Unterkunft zu berichten!
