The hosts were friendly and helpful, also for preparing take away breakfast before the time. There is a mosque close to the place but they facilitate earplugs to better join the night sleep. Good air conditioner and very comfortable bed.

Staying at Chendela was really an amazing experience. A truly walk-in-culture with well designed interior planning- capturing the slow living style of the native Javanese with also enhanced by the modern touch of decorative and functional features of the room. The host are very humble, welcome, and passionate. We were grateful to met Mr.Bima and directly introduced us to every interesting detail and story behind Chendela’s. A super recommended place to stay! Thank you Chendela Family for sharing this masterpiece with us.

Their rooms are always full on holiday/peak season, finally able to visit Yogyakarta on low season and yes their room is available. As the picture shown, that was how our room looks like exactly. It is quite well furnished. Will come back and try the other room with a different design!

The place is just exactly like how they describe it. The host is super responsive and friendly. The location is great, we can walk to the keraton, alun-alun, or Malioboro. Definitely will come back when visit jogja again.
