This unit is a 28-night minimum stay, excluding a 3-night minimum stay May 2–5 for the Kentucky Derby. Welcome to The Beanblossom Apt. 2, a gorgeously renovated historic apartment in downtown Corydon. Everything is new! This is one of two apartments located on the second floor of a completely renovated building constructed in the 1880s. Enjoy exposed brick, marble countertops, high-end appliances, and thoughtful furnishings. *Available again after a longterm tenant! Check out our discounted extended stay pricing.* This building was completely renovated down to the studs in 2018. A painted sign was uncovered during the restoration that reads “Emmett Beanblossom,” which is how The Beanblossom got its name. Emmett Beanblossom was a local undertaker, and his funeral home was in this building until the mid-1900s. A large deck is just outside the apartment, with a dedicated space for you to use. (The other half is used by the building’s only other tenant—please respect their space.) The unit has a washer and dryer for you to use. There are two full bathrooms with showers (no tub). The bathrooms are attached to the bedrooms. There is a 1/2 bath off the living area. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, and blender. The apartment is accessed by an exterior staircase on the back of the building. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the building, it would not be accessible/comfortable for those with limited mobility. A large parking lot is located behind the building, so you'll have no trouble parking. Before your arrival, you'll receive a code to a digital lockbox that contains a key to the building's exterior and your apartment. Young children are welcome to stay, but we don't provide a crib, highchair, etc., so please bring your own items if needed. The apartment has not been child proofed.
