We really enjoyed our stay, the beautiful swimming pool and being able to cook in the outside kitchen. The owners weren't there but their co host Oscar was, and he was very friendly and welcoming! Their dogs and their cute cat also were :) The area is beautiful and full of wildlife, especially iguanas! The only downside for us were that there are several gaps in the cabin and around the front doors/windows where bugs can enter even when everything is closed, and especially if you have the light on inside in the night/evening. If you're scared of bugs easily, that's something to take into account. We also found a tiny scorpion in the bathroom one evening but managed to get rid of it. But nothing made it into the bed, thanks to the mosquito net.

Ein wirklich tolles Haus auf Stelzen. Super sauber. Terrasse mit Möbeln & Hängematte perfekt um Affen, Vögel, Nasenbluten in den Bäumen zu beobachten. Parkplätze, gratis Fahrräder, Pool, gemeinsame Küche

On a beaucoup aimé le séjour chez Douglas et Elena. L’endroit et la proximité avec la nature sont magnifiques. Il y a souvent des petits singes. La piscine est un énorme plus!

Wonderful treehouse to stay in. Beautiful pool with monkeys swinging through the trees. Easy access to town and the beach.

Super cute place to stay while we were in Sámara for a couple days! Douglas and Elena were very informative with places to go and eat, updates as far as our stay (power being out in town). Well stocked kitchen and pool area. Adored the spot and would stay longer if we weren’t moving onto another town!
