Monique and Jason definitely made this trip worth it. This is the first time my husband and I have gone away without our kids, and it felt like home. They wrote a special anniversary message on their chalkboard which we thought was so thoughtful! I hope to go back soon!
We thank Monique and Jason for accommodating us last minute! They certainly made us feel like special guests & we felt so comfortable and cozy. We truly felt like we were staying in the home of some awesome people. The place turned out to be more than just somewhere to stay - it was an experience. Nestled in huge hemlock trees in a mossy forest, alongside a bowling brook and fern covered ravine, the sounds and smells were a delight. One of a kind opportunity to stay in a National Forest! But with all the modern comforts and luxuries you’d ever need and more. We will return!
Such a lovely stay! This cozy little A-frame was so well-designed to give plenty of space and privacy for the guests. The sound of the creek running behind the building was absolutely magnificent and peaceful in he evenings and mornings. Just a few miles from shopping at Manchester, VT, the cabin feels nestled in the mountain forest. Loved every minute of the stay.
It was my second visit! 👍 My dog and I couldn't miss the last Powder Day, so we went there. It was definitely a good choice and It was like a beautiful gift for us to spend our last winter trip there house this season !! highly recommended !
This is our second time at the A frame, and the whole family loves it! It's close to downtown Manchester, which is super cute, and has a fantastic bookstore and many restaurants, and it's also close to multiple skiing options. We stayed at the end of March and got the last great snowstorm for skiing, and the cabin was a lovely place to be snowed in for a day. We also liked that it was kid and pet friendly; we were staying with a 5 year old, a 7 year old, and a small dog, and every creature was so happy with it!

I like to say I’m a ‘Jill of all trades’. I am passionate about Alzheimer’s awareness, wellness, and dogs. I grew up at the beach but feel most at home in the woods. When my husband, Jason, and I had the opportunity to purchase a dream cabin in the woods, we jumped on it! We host as we’d like to be hosted. We give plenty of thought to the guest experience, from prior to booking, during our guests’ stay, and even after our guests check out. Your trip should be easy and frustration free. You’ll have everything you need, but we are always available if you need us! We look forward to meeting you, whether you are our guest or our host.
