This house is perfect in every way. On our arrival the house was spotlessly clean with a welcome basket of goodies an excellent touch. There is everything you could possibly wish for in this house. All of the rooms are very well decorated and thought out. The garden is spacious, with the summer house an added bonus. The location is perfect for travelling around the island. The White Mouse Inn next door is a lovely place to eat with the views of the sea.

The house is spacious and was a great base for my family of five adults and three children. The kitchen is a good size and quite well equipped (nice to have a good selection of children's plates, bowls and cups) but it was stored in rather a higgledy piggledy way so we had to search to find things. Some of the crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment was not clean and needed washing up before use. The garden is really lovely, with plenty of safe space for the children to play and adults to relax. We hired a hot tub for the week from a local company which was easy to site in the garden and proved very popular with everyone! Jackie (from Life's a Bleach) was very helpful in helping us get reduced price ferry tickets and allowing us to have the hot tub. She was great at answering my questions and very quick to respond. We found that the house wasn't as clean as we would have liked, with dog hairs on the floor and the bathrooms needed some attention. The location is superb with lovely views

Great place. We booked last minute when our original booking cancelled. Jacky was very helpful and accommodating. Lots of space for our large party and really well equipped with lots of toys. The kids loved the Jungle room and the dinosaurs. The outdoor space was also really good to have and had lots of furniture. Blackgang is just a short distance and well worth a visit with kids.
