The Woof Dog is a cozy cottage that's just about 10 min drive away from Blue Ridge. We came during a busy weekend - festivals, fall break - and everything reasonably priced had been booked out for months so we were glad to find this place to stay. The cottage is self-contained: it has a sitting area, a bed, a small kitchen (with stove, fridge, cutlery, pots, toaster, microwave, and a coffee maker but make sure to bring your own coffee grounds), and a private bathroom so it was very convenient for us as we were in town for the Blue Ridge Ultra. The cottage is very clean and we were met at check-in by Dan who lives on the property. The place is very quiet and peaceful and convenient to get to and from Blue Ridge.- The A/C unit is a bit loud when it clicks on and there was a light fixture outside the window right at eye level with the bed (with lighter colored curtains) however, nothing that a pair of earplugs and sleep masks couldn't address. Check-out was also equally easy (there's a drop-box) and we really enjoyed the two beautiful cool misty mornings.

This was the coziest, cutest space! My husband and I spent our anniversary weekend here, and we loved everything about Lynn's place. It was clean, and it was super close to downtown, and the view out the windows was amazing! The cost was great, and we will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend!
