This is a good place to stay. It is close to the main part of Blue Ridge and also enough to any of the conveniences one may need. The manager greeted me in a friendly manner and made sure I was happy with my room. I recommend this place to anyone because it is very reasonably priced and it is well kept.

The views, if you stay here for no other reason than to watch a sunset over the mountains it’s worth it!! Absolutely gorgeous and a wonderful host!!

Excellent, I mean EXCELLENT, location if you want to spend time in Blue Ridge without spending time driving to and fro. The Eagles Nest isn’t roomy but what it doesn’t deliver in space it more than makes up for in meeting basic necessities for the frugal traveler. It had great HOT water and very good water pressure in the shower, more than adequate toiletries were provided, and offered the benefit of a mini frig and microwave as well as place setting for two. Tv is small but easily viewable since it is perched on the wall virtually at foot of bed. Lots of channels and a channel guide on the night stand. The bed could be more comfortable but I find that to be true of most places I’ve stayed both frugally priced and up. Others might think it is great! All depends on what you’re used to. Access to a bbq grill is a bonus. The on-site mgmt was very accommodating during my stay, and they reached out to me before arrival to ensure a smooth check-in. I’ll be back!
