Fantastic hosts with a keen eye to detail, perfect location which feels like a secret to know, but should be shared with everyone. The grounds are vast and perfect for pooches to take a little wander. The property itself had all the facilities we needed, which were clean and well maintained. It’s been along time since we’ve said we’ve had a perfect nights sleep, but we found it here. The EV charger made the visit simple with a full charge ready to explore Somerset and the coast. Thank you for hosting us and the dogs.

Stunning property, we felt right at home and couldn’t have had a better stay. Bed is super comfy and the apartment was spotless and beautifully decorated. Would stay again in a heartbeat. The grounds were perfect for our Labrador to have a run around in and Mel was super responsive and made some great recommendations for local eateries etc. Thanks Mel & Paul for sharing your wonderful home, we had a brilliant time 😊

We spent the bank holiday weekend at Rose Cottage, and what a little gem it is! Located a short drive from the local village of Wedmore Rose Cottage is in a beautiful, scenic and peaceful location, but only a 20 min drive to Wells & Glastonbury, and 10/15 minutes to Cheddar Gorge & Wookey Caves. The cottage is beautifully presented, & was exceptionally clean and tidy. We stayed with our puppy Mabel, and were made to feel so welcome. Mel and Paul are absolutely lovely and do not bother you and leave you to enjoy your stay, but are there if you need them. The gardens and field are shared with the other cottage on site and are beautifully kept and were great for our pup to run around and burn off some energy. Being dog lovers themselves, Mabel made firm friends with Mel & Paul and enjoyed lots of fuss from them, which was great as this was Mabel’s first holiday, and put our minds at rest. Thank you for having us, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back next year.
