The villa is located in a quiet green area. It has 2 floors and a beautiful balcony. The villa is equipped with everything needed for a long or a short stay. The villa inside is pretty old with scratches and burnt marks on a floor and furniture. Even though it was built/renovated a few years ago we enjoyed our stay here. Everything was fine except our communication with the host. 1. At least once the host was in the apartment without our presence and our permission to do so. The host did not tell about that afterwards. Only when I understood that someone visited the apartment and asked directly I heard a story that it was done for our own sake to reset a wifi so our phones did not switch to BiH network and we did not pay for roaming. When I told that it did not eliminate the risk and It would had been better to tell us about possible issue I was told that the host did not have to notify us about anything. 2. During a check-in I showed that a mosquito net was broken. The host told that it was probably done by drunk girls that celebrated BD in the apartment before us. Next day the host changed her mind and told me that I did it. After that I was asked to pay for the repair. 3. The host always walked in outdoor shoes inside even though we asked to take them off because we walked barefoot. The host told us that all Croatians did so 4. When we asked for help with ants that were on the cooking surface the host came to resolve the situation but told us that if we did not like something we could go. 5. The AC in the living room did not work. We were told that everything was checked and should work well. As a result there was a bees nest in the outside block of the AC. The AC was replaced

Our stay at Marija’s house was lovely. Marija was such an angel and went over and above to make it feel like home, it was sad to say goodbye to her. She brought over freshly made cakes, donuts, pies and even made us lunch one day which was amazing. The house itself has lots of space and is amazingly clean. We didn’t know when we booked but the house is also cleaned every 5 days at no extra cost if you are there for a long stay which was a nice surprise. Location wise you are a 15min drive from Dubrovnik so you definitely need a car to get around and will end up doing a bit of driving. Everything else was super easy and Marija and her husband are the kindest people
