The photos do not do it justice. Nicolas’s place is so charming and so much bigger than the photos make it appear. The location cannot be beat and the experience of staying in a very old but beautiful building next to the cathedral was wonderful. There is a staircase that can be a little tricky, so make sure you are ok with going up and down some short steep steps. We found it to be no problem once our belongings were up. I would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful flat with gorgeous historic elements, right in the centre of Strasbourg, a stone’s throw from the cathedral. Very comfortable, very peaceful, everything you need for a cosy pad to launch yourself from on a journey around Strasbourg. Highly recommend it if you’re lucky enough to book some of the available days - it’s understandably very popular. The only small thing I can say as advice for future travellers, and I wouldn’t think for a second to reduce the star rating below 5 stars for this, but as you’re right next to the cathedral be aware the sound of the bells will be quite clear each hour from 7am. Quite beautiful really, but just to know it may not be the right place if you like to sleep late.

the place is wonderful, very atmospheric, you feel like going back in time, but at the same time the apartment is very comfortable and had everything you need. Nicolas is a great host, communication was fast and easy. and the most amazing thing about the place - is location. very recommended

A wonderful room in a wonderful location. Very charming. The lift in the builidng is nice, as is not having to carry a key with you everywhere. The cathedral's bells can be pretty loud at its last ring at 10:00pm, and then again at 7:00am, but it is not too bad in the room with the windows closed. Tons of great restaurants just steps away. Highly recommended.
