Although we requested to pay for earlier access we were not allowed to enter unit until 4 pm hours after our arrival and then cleaners were on site anyway at 4 pm for another 45 minutes which was frustrating. Luggage storage was available at nearby office although requiring navigating several small flights of stairs and dodging staff’s recharging electric scooters. Check in staff were rude and abrupt and door code email did not get sent. However once we got the unit to ourselves we greatly enjoyed our stay. Very spacious, while eccentrically decorated, the apartment allowed our family to spread out in multiple bedrooms and gather in comfortable, large living room and dining area with full kitchen and laundry all which were key after extensive traveling in multiple hotels. Very central to explore Barcelona. Slightly dusty and unusual shower in primary BR but all in all an excellent stay. If you are a large group it’s a fantastic base to enjoy exploring the city.

The apartment was great, very spacious and as the photos appear. Nicely interior designed for a period building. Two things let the apartment down; 1. There is a lack of ongoing maintenance to keep this properly maintained for the high price charged. The bathrooms need the marble properly cleaning and regrouting, not a big job to do, but make them look very tired. The showers also need descaling so they work properly. 2. The kitchen is a big let down, purely due to lack of ongoing maintenance, dishwasher needs replacing, broken handles and the stainless steel all needs a very good clean to remove the rust. A lack of utensils and dishes to cook with could also be easily remedied. Other than the lack of maintenance, the property was fantastic.

This apartment is amazing. Great location in the city and much bigger than expected. Plenty of space for people to spread out and well stocked with everything you need. Wish I could just live here.
