There is very often, a lovely cooling breeze around the property where you can enjoy bird and squirrel watching, maybe spot the odd iguana or catch a distant howl of Howler monkeys. You are going to enjoy the enchanting bird calls from dawn to dusk. The finca is a working farm and a few staff are on-site each day to maintain the land and crops during the morning (monday to Friday), without intrusion to your privacy Our two dogs (Tessa and Karla) are free to roam the farm but are well trained not come into the pool area, nor your property. Depending on the time of year of your stay, you will be lucky enough to be able to eat from the land plantains, mangos, goyabas, bananas, avocados, coconuts, corn etc.. A plethora of local restaurants or 'Comidores' to choose from serving local beer and local food. You are 10 minutes from the mirador of Diría, or view point of Diria so named for its amazing view across Laguna Apoyo. From here there is free access and a beautiful walk down to Laguna Apoyo for a swim. You will be 20 minutes from the larger town of Granada and 20 minutes away in the other direction is the stunning horticultural village of Catarina with another access road to Laguna Apoyo. There are many fun activities in the area from horse riding near Catarina and down to the laguna, volcano climbing, hiking Volcan Mombacho, visiting Volcan Massaya and seeing the molten lava, Aguas Agrias, Granada, Isletas of Granada, Massaya Getting Around The property is accessible by all vehicles, even by bicycle and on foot from the main road. If you have a car there is parking right outside your villa but it is NOT necessary to have a car to enjoy your time here. There is very cheap public transportation or private taxi. We can organise for a moto taxi to come to the property to fetch you whenever you wish.
