Great spot for a week while I was working in the area. Hosts were always responsive to messages.
Murphy was an accomodating host very responsive to us .We would stay there again without reservation. The premises were exactly as described and it is very close to stores and restaurants
My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay here! We came to this location primarily for cycling. We repeatedly did a route called the Javelina 100K. Great nearby Mexican restaurants and “Licks” ice cream and coffee is not to be missed. Also enjoyed brief moments with Bolt and Bella!
Thank you, Jim and Murphy, for a wonderful stay I had! I spent the months February and march there and found exactly what i was looking for! Things could not have been more perfect. I had everything i needed and felt very comfortable from the start! The view i had each morning will forever be with me! I definitely recommend. The hiking was spectacular and was close to everything i needed! Thanks again!
I stayed with Murphy and Jim for well over a month. I really appreciate how good the communication was and how the place had such a nice 'out of town' feel even though you can get anything you need within 20 minutes by car. You'll have everything you need for a long stay (cooking, bedding, etc) and close proximity to some trails and Catalina State Park. Highly recommend this place for those looking for a get away in this beautiful desert.

Greetings! I'm your host, along with my husband, Jim. I work at the University of Arizona as an analyst for the UArizona Foundation. Jim is a therapist at the nearby Sierra Tucson Residential Treatment Center. We have two grown children, both of whom have flown the coop. We currently have one - and some might say - overly-friendly dog. We love to travel and prefer Airbnb stays over anything else!
