The house was perfect. We loved our holiday here. Janaka was there when we arrived and his wife made the most delicious meals each dinner time. Janaka was extremely helpful arranging tours (tuk tuks and by car) and meals as needed. Absolutely beautiful place and would recommend to all my friends.

The house is perched on top of a wild and green mountain and has incredible panoramic views of the rolling green Sri Lankan landscapes! The house is super comfortable, spotless clean, well equipped with amenities and large, naturally lit and spacious. Tall glass windows everywhere full of 360 degree views as well! The caretaker Janaka was so kind and helpful - helped with pick up from Kandy and driving us, also lovely breakfast by his wife! He recommended us a lovely hiking trail in the authentic Sri Lankan country side which was very memorable. The host Charmalene was also very responsive, and helpful with every need. It’s a little away from the main Kandy town but every bit worth it if you want to experience a piece of real and authentic mountainside SL! 10/10 recommend!

A really lovely place to stay! Although I only spent two nights there, it was extremely relaxing and uplifting to be able to gaze at the wonderful view and well worth the journey to get there. The unusual design of the house means that you live almost constantly with that spectacular view; it is very special. I also enjoyed the cleanliness of the house, the privacy, the meals provided and the birdwatching. Charmalene is a very responsive host, which I also appreciated. I hope to return!

Wer ein paar Tage Ruhe in der Natur sucht und dazu noch einen tollen Blick, der ist hier genau richtig. Während unseres Aufenthaltes hatten wir ein paar atemberaubende Sonnenaufgänge und konnten die Lage bei jedem Wetter genießen. Die Kommunikation mit Charmalene war sehr angenehm und vor Ort war Janaka sehr hilfreich, hat uns ein sehr gutes Abendessen serviert und Tuk Tuk Fahrten unternommen bzw. organisiert (die Fahrt mit Lahiru zu unserer nächsten Unterkunft über den Berghang und unseren drei Koffern im TukTuk war super).
