自我介绍

I (Geena) am originally from Mexico City but have lived in Virginia for 20 years. My husband is from Virginia but loves Mexico just as much. We are empty nesters and new grandparents, enjoying this new stage in our lives. Yes we love to travel- Who doesn't?- But our favorite place for a vacation that NEVER gets boring is Playa del Carmen in the Mayan Riviera. This is our children's favorite spot too, all 5 of them. We enjoy it so much we decided to get a piece of Playa (that is what the locals call it) But not just any place... We decided not to compromise: It had to be in the hub of 5th Ave. where everything happens, but we did not want it to be noisy. We wanted the traditional Playa architecture but wanted a newer building. We required a pool, entertaining areas, private bedrooms removed from the entertaining areas, a private rooftop to view the sunsets, and sunrises- sometimes during the same waking period- an outdoor shower... and so on It took us 7 years to find it! and then we added all the comforts and features that we believe make the perfect vacation spot for family and friends. We hope you visit our place and love it as much as we do. Someday we will get to visit the many lovely places we see on Airbnb ourselves and meet wonderful and interesting people all over the world because I believe that is the best part of traveling. We are not interested in large mega all-inclusive resorts that all look and taste the same after the second day (yes, we have stayed in many more than I want to admit) instead we like to experience the true flavors, culture and customs of the wonderful countries we visit...
