The cabin was comfortable and we loved the location. Its right off of a quiet beach and walking distance from the pier; it really is the best of both worlds! We highly recommend staying here. Kathy was great to work with.

The entire house wasn’t clean – even worse, the bathroom. There’s nothing quite like cleaning the toilet, sink and shower of the former occupants. Mildew smelling sheets in the washer. Not a square of toilet paper. We called the owner who says “I’m traveling and received a message from the house cleaner about an emergency that affected you.” This was 6:20 PM and we could check in as early as 3 PM, so why didn’t you tell us before hand? Kathy waived the cleaning fee but didn’t seem to appreciate the inconvenience of cleaning her rental and returning to the store for promised supplies. The entry code didn’t work the second day. The back up instructions said there was a lock box on a metal chair on the patio. All the patio furniture is wooden. An hour later we found a fake rock with backup keys in it Heated up a nice pan to sear a steak. Put the steak in the pan. No vent hood Smoke alarms work Yard was completely unkept Dead trees on the shoreline view Outdoor furniture filled with webs

If I could give you Kathy’s Little red house more than five stars I would it was everything I wanted and more. Kathy was very responsive whenever he had a question. The location was wonderful. I could walk 400 yards down the canal park without having to do any parking or paying parking fees. At the end of the day I could sit with my two dogs and look at the lake and just relax. Kitchen was wonderful bed. I slept like a rock. Everything was perfect.

This place was perfect for my husband and I and our small dog. Great outdoor space to spend time with family locally. Weather was excellent and was able to spend our mornings with coffee lakeside. 1/2 mile walk to all the best of Canal Park. Comfortable accommodation and everything provided by the hosts. Kitchen was big enough to cook meals and we took advantage of the outside grill. We wished we could have stayed longer and will return.

The location could not have been more perfect! It was so nice relaxing outside, watching the waves roll in, people surfing, and the big ships pass by. We loved be able to bring our pug, Chunk, with us. It truly made it a family vacation. Thanks so much!
