Absolutely beautiful location! Enchanting villa with great views! We enjoy every aspect of the premises including the outdoor heated pool! The leaving room in the chapel was just an amazing space to be. He had a great time!! Thank you for the great customer service.

We were genuinely very disappointed with the villa. It is marketed as a comfortable, well equipped and furnished property. The exterior is fine, however the interior is not. The bathrooms and kitchen are past their best and need to be replaced. The main bathroom units and door frame are falling apart. The showers have almost no water pressure. The upstairs shower room can not be used due to the smell of the drains. The down stairs shower room has mice droppings. The layout of the furniture and type of the furniture in the villa has been changed from the photos on the web site. The interior feels and looks very different from what the website photos portray. In reality, the interior feels tatty and cheap and needs to be re-equipped (bathrooms, kitchen & soft furnishings) before it is fit to be marketed as a comfortable holiday let. The chapel area now feels like a museum as their are now two large display cases in the centre of the room showing various artefacts. Some furnishings have been removed, including drapes around the main entrance; this room is not inviting. The main beds have come straight out of the 1950s. They are uncomfortable beyond belief and noisy. One bedroom in particular, you where sinking through the mattress. The property has an infinity pool, with is marketed with beautiful views of the countryside, this is now no longer the case. The owner has allowed the shrubbery to grow to such a height that from within the pool, there is no view! I even sent the rep, Sam, a text, offering to cut these back myself. One morning, we woke to find that there was no running water. We could not drink or wash for several hours. Apparently this is not uncommon for the villa but despite this we were not told that it could happen and there was no backup plan or even any bottled water available to us. You can imagine how we felt when we realised there wasn’t any water…especially the females in the group! We were wrongfully charged €100.00 cash for electricity, by the owner on the day we departed despite this being included within the price. I have emailed Emma Villa asking for a refund but am still waiting to receive anything. Also, we were charged €350 for heating the pool. Due to issues with the pool, on one day the pool was not heated. I checked the thermometer on the pools heating system which was showing 25C. Clearly not heated. Also we could not use the pool for another day due to the water going cloudy as a result of it not being chemically treated during our stay. The PH and Chlorine levels needed to be corrected in order to prevent infection. I have a pool at home and know the importance of this.
