We had an interesting experience with a rough start that made for a complicated first half of our month long visit. There were numerous issues including the heating of the home, weak wifi, and a broken oven. Loredana was responsive even though she was sick and she tried to resolve the issues as best as she could. Just know that should you choose to stay in the winter months, the top floor where two of the bedrooms and the bathroom with the shower are located is poorly insulated and very cold. We had originally wanted to stay in the upstairs bedroom, but chose to stay in the bedroom on the middle floor due to the lack of proper heating. The wifi works on the ground floor and sometimes, it will work on the middle floor. It definitely does not work on the top floor though. Also, you should note that there is no microwave in the kitchen. The town itself is quaint and has a small movie theater, two grocery stores, and a weekly outdoor market. There is free street parking that's easy to find. The location is fantastic for day trips to Modena, Bologna, Verona, etc. We even took an overnight trip to Venice from here. All of these cities were within 1 to 2.5 hours drive. If you're looking for fine dining, there is an exceptional Michelin star restaurant one block from the house. Overall, we made the house work for us, but it was with compromises and there were only two of us.

Ospitalità ottima la casa presenta molto bene, pulizia ineccepibile e camere accoglienti e curate. Ho soggiornato a Quistello per andare a visitare Mantova raggiungibile in circa 30minuti.
