Excellente destination. L’accueil est simple avec beaucoup de sympathie. Je recommande le petit déjeuner et la gentillesse des hôtes. J’ai hâte de revenir !

The team at Chalet Hotel du Fornet works as hard as any hosts I have seen for their guests. The quality of the hotel and the experience staying there is a result of their dedication and visible passion for what they do. Choose to stay here. The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable - just as seen in the pictures. The hotel has a salon to relax in with good breakfast every morning, a ski room to store/dry your boots and equipment, and a spa. The location is great - the free shuttles run all day and you can be in town in 5 minutes - and it’s a short walk from one of the ski lifts. Free parking is available a short walking distance from the hotel. The service is the GOLD STANDARD. Stefane and Marie were incredible hosts and went above and beyond for us. We arrived to Val D’Isere in a snow storm with deteriorating road conditions, and Stefane drove out to meet us and help us find parking at about 2030h, an hour after the desk closed. He personally shuttled us and our baggage to the hotel. The next evening the roads were still bad and we weren’t sure if we would be able to get into town for dinner. The hotel staff cooked a wonderful meal for the guests at the hotel. Stefane worked all day to clear snow around the hotel and in the village and provided excellent service at dinner. Marie is a ski instructor and gave us great advice on where to ski and who to get rentals from. These folks work hard and love what they do. Can’t recommend them enough and will stay here again next time we’re in Val D’Isere.
