This unit is on the grounds of Los Cabos Golf Resort, which is a fairly outdated but fine resort situated away from the hubbub of downtown Cabo. The listing said 2 bedrooms when we booked but note there is only 1 bedroom and a common space. The pool was great and good for kids (shallow areas to play), and the staff were attentive and kind. There is a restaurant on site that made it easy to grab food if we didn't feel like cooking or going out. There is also hotel staff on site to clean the room each day. The resort is by no means glamorous and amenities were limited, but the room was comfortable enough and it was helpful to have a kitchen. The kitchen had pots and pans but no other cooking needs (eg oil, spices, etc.). The location is such that if you want to go out to eat or do any excursions, you'll have to either have a rental car or do Uber/taxi. It's close to downtown Cabo San Lucas and easy to get to. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but it was overpriced for what was provided.

Location was a quick drive to the beach and restaurants. Our kids loved the pool and swim-up bar for smoothies, chips/guacamole, and other apps. Enjoyed having 2 full bathrooms, full kitchen, desk area, and main area. The space was fantastic from a layout perspective. The communication has a slight gap (but very manageable), in the regards that if it's something that is directly related to your stay at the hotel (ie check-in/check-out, golf, etc) you don't go through host, but instead the hotel. Everyone was still super quick to respond though.

The good, the bad, and the ugly. Good- Villa was spacious, clean, and adequately equipped. Alfredo the man who drove the shuttle to and from the golf course was so great! Massage facility and experience was lovely. Uber ride to Cabo from the resort were about $4 and easy to arrange. Bad- hot tubs inoperable, swimming pools not heated, in-room Roku not working, and laundry facility at the resort out of order. Ugly- It was a BIG hassle to get the resort to honor the 50% golf rate- and would not have happened if I hadn't been relentlessly persistent. Golf course experience was disjointed- pay at resort, check in at club house, pay for range balls at the restaurant, pay for a pyramid at balls at the golf cart stand...need the wifi password? ...go back to the restaurant to get that. Lots of back and forth and confusion. Course is in decent shape.
