We live in a wonderfully private spot, in a unique conservation area and special location, right next to the 12th Century St Peters church .... with just a few other neighbours nearby, who also delight in the peace, tranquility and beauty of our neighbourhood, it feels rural yet we are minutes away from the high street and all the delights of the lovely town.
Just a short walk away are the beautiful lake grounds, with gardens, sea side promenade, play areas for children, cafes and beautiful Lake with many ducks and swans. Plus the heated open air swimming pool which is open most of the year.
There's lots of nature too, with amazing views, wonderful bird life, great coastal walks, pubs, restaurants, cafes and independent shops are all within strolling distance. A must is the Portishead Marina, just a ten minute walk away and perfect for coffee, cakes and people watching!
There are so many places to visit nearby, National trust property, the classic sea side at Weston Super Mare with sandy beaches, the wonderful victorian coastal town of Clevedon, with its own heritage Cinema, the stunning Art Deco Clevedon Curzon which has regular good films and events, its apparently the the oldest continually running cinema In the world. The beautiful Clevedon Pier is supposed to be the prettiest in England too!
The culture filled city of Bristol is less than half an hour away - and can offer a vibrant day or evening out!
