Marcia's place was a super sweet little cabin by a beautiful deep creek nestled in carmel valley. It was very quiet and peaceful, and we had a wonderful relaxing time there. The space is smallish, but very nicely laid out with all kinds of thoughtful touches. Marcia was a great host and we were very comfortable throughout our stay!

We stayed in Marcia’s studio for two nights and really enjoyed being in the nature. Marcia was a perfect host providing us all the necessary information and welcoming us with snacks and beverages. If you’re searching for an accommodation to escape the city, I would definitely recommend Marcia’s apartment. Would love to come back one day!

My solo weekend retreat at Marcia’s studio was absolutely perfect, even better than I expected. The drive in through the Carmel Valley was beautiful and allowed time to slow down and shed the stresses of day to day life. Marcia is so kind and gracious, and I immediately felt comfortable and welcomed. Her and Chris even took the box of firewood I brought for the wood stove and cut it down to size, along with providing a little bucket of kindling materials. I thoroughly enjoyed tending the fire to heat the cozy dwelling, both in the evening and early morning as I woke with birdsong. The studio had everything I needed, and is both artfully and efficiently equipped. Each piece chosen for the space is a little treasure of its own, and feels very intentional. The walks down to the river were a wonderful way to spend anytime of day, and just be. Healing, inspiring space. Wonderful host. Little slice of paradise! I hope to return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marcia's place! It was very secluded, and the nature surrounding us was beautiful. Marcia was incredibly helpful and accommodating during the entirety of the stay- we really appreciated her kind hospitality. If you're looking for a quiet getaway, this is a great spot! The road to get to the place was a bit windy, so if anyone has motion sickness just be prepared ahead of time!
