The Shetland at Delph Shire

Delph Shire is located within the picturesque village of Delph, set within in the rolling hills of Saddleworth. It provides a very private and exclusive space for up to six guests. With spectacular views over the countryside, but within easy reach of a fabulous selection of restaurants, pubs and local walks. There is 6 seater hot tub with its own space. This can be reserved privately from 4pm to late evening for £45 per day. Please contact us directly to check availability prior to booking.

Idyllic short stay breaks for one or two people

Thorneycroft Shepherds Hut offers short stay holidays for one to two people as an idyllic getaway to the peace and quiet of the countryside. It is situated in a quiet corner of our yard with uninterrupted views down our fields in the picturesque village of Kettleshulme. Great for exploring, a mile up the road the is Goyt Valley and Windgather Rocks, ideal for walkers, climbers and cyclists. In the village there is a local pub, The Swan, that serves excellent food, booking recommended.

A unique experience to stay in a luxury horsebox. Three double beds all with their own lighting and USB ports. There’s free Wi-Fi, central heating, online television, blue mood lighting, toilet, shower. Dining table with wraparound sofa. Full kitchen with microwave and gas oven and hobs. Stay in this unique accommodation within Sir Lee’s 2 acre secure garden, large ponds, massive lawn, stables etc. Friendly dogs & horses welcome to stay under separate arrangements.

Park on the drive and enter the galley kitchen that leads to a garden oasis, designed for peace and tranquility. Walk across the courtyard with outdoor dining table and enter the cabin which has a bedroom with en-suite and lounge. This is an indoor / outdoor dining experience as well as enjoyment from evenings out in the local restaurants and pubs. There are local walks 15 minutes away. Set back from Green Lane which can be a little busy at certain times of the day.

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. Quiet campsite with plenty of space and great views. Bring your own tent and bedding, but everything else provided. Available Monday to Thursday nights for a few select individual bookings and at the weekends for groups. Price includes up to 4 people inc children.
