Enjoy a beautiful Somerset getaway in the historic Old Dairy surrounded by open countryside but nestled in a beautiful old village of with a fabulous pub only 5 minutes walk. There are over 20 acres of fields and woodland to explore including a stunning spring fed wild swimming lake to jump into on summer days or even winter ones if you're feeling brave. We are 10 mins drive from the charming historic city of Wells with its beautiful Cathedral, 20 mins from Glastonbury Tor & 30 mins from Bath

The Hidey Hole - Cottage in the heart of Wells

Tucked away in the very heart of the picturesque city of Wells, just moments from the High Street, Cathedral & Bishop's Palace. The Hidey Hole is a charming one bedroom cottage, accessed via a pretty central courtyard. Having recently been refurbished, this stylish cottage offers an eclectic mix, combining modern convenience, character features and quirky, yet sumptuous, décor. This hidden gem is ideally placed to enjoy all that Wells has to offer and makes the perfect place to relax & unwind.

The Vault

The Vault is a really special space, which we hope you can see from the photographs. It is a basement studio apartment with its own private entrance. It is quiet and cosy with underfloor heating and an ambient temperature all year round. This property is very central, making it easy to plan your visit. We are very close to the harbour and the property is on the famous Georgian Square, Queen Square. It feels like you have stepped into a film from Jane Austen as you come out of the building.

Cosy & Spacious Shepherd's Hut with Stunning Views

Our shepherd's hut is thickly insulated to stay cool all summer, with a fridge to keep your beers cold. Outside, a generous deck and seating area is made for bright mornings and long evenings. Gather round the fire bowl as the sun goes down to watch the stars emerge over truly dark skies. Solar-powered lighting and mains sockets, double and single bed, a fully equipped kitchen, hot water washing up just outside the door — all a ten minute stroll away from The George, an award-winning pub.

Easel Cottage near Wells: an art-filled hideaway

An art lovers home with spirited interiors. Easel Cottage dates from 1880 and sits on the highest point of South Horrington village, just outside Wells, affording it a superb viewpoint. A former part of Mendip Hospital, the cottage is full of charm and character, with art work and vintage furnishings throughout. The combination of visual drama with comfort and convenience makes Easel Cottage the ideal setting in which to explore the Mendips. A treat of a retreat from city life.

Rookham View Lodge is located on a smallholding on top of the Mendips overlooking Wells. Relax on the patio, catch a view of the Red Kite soaring high, or visit the sheep, ponies, goats, ducks and chickens in the surrounding field. Get active on the many footpaths leading from our property, gently cycle the Somerset levels or try the more challenging rides on the Mendip Hills. Active or relaxing - we guarantee you will enjoy the view from our Lodge at the end of your day.

The Old Milking Parlour

Perched high on the Mendip Hills, in a landscape that offers sweeping views across the Somerset Levels to Glastonbury Tor, this two bedroom self-catering barn conversion sleeps up to 4 persons (plus infant) and one medium sized dog, making a perfect getaway for you and your pet. Whether a break away with the kids, just the two of you or with friends, with a dog we have everything you could ask for in terms of luxurious comfort, peaceful seclusion and enjoyable days out.

The Dairy

The Dairy is a modern and spacious barn conversion in a quiet rural location with all the essential amenities for a long stay or short break. It is the perfect location to explore Somerset and the West Country by car, bike or on foot, with the beautiful Cathedral City of Wells just a 5 minute drive away or a 20 minute walk. Cheddar Gorge and Glastonbury Tor are also just a 15 minute car journey. The village pub is also within walking distance of the property.

Travellers Rest

This stylish self-contained annex, with fully equipped kitchen, is perfect for 1 -4 guests, friends or families. Located on the A37 between Street and Shepton Mallet, ideally situated for visits to the spiritual town of Glastonbury, shopping village of Street, historic town of Shepton Mallet and beautiful city of Wells. It is surrounded by the Mendip Hills and a stones throw away from attractions such as the Bath & West Showground and Glastonbury Festival.

Churchside Cottage

Churchside cottage is a beautiful 15th centuary cottage in the centre of Wells. This house has been newly renovated for hosting, comprising of 2 bedrooms suited to a family. Wells is the smallest city in England, and this characterful cottage is right in the centre of it. Located at the bottom of the high street this central location offers pubs and restaurants, rural walks (perfect for our 4 legged friends!) and shops all within a couple of minutes walk.

Christmas Cabin - River View 10 mins from Bath

We have lovingly just converted this building into a highly unique 2 bedroom river fronted Cabin to excite and delight its guests. Situated less than 10 meters from the UK's oldest Brass Mill, skirting on the tranquil Mill Island with complimentary access to Kayaks, paddle boards and bikes and all being only a 10 minute drive into historic Bath's city centre. Pop your feet up with a glass of wine while the log burner crackles in the background.
