Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Stay in a cozy cabin on our century old farm and pasture. Perfect for an artist retreat or a young family getaway. Have coffee on the deck while spotting deer, cows and wild turkeys. Roast s'mores at dusk outside. Be inspired by nature while hiking our 160 acre property or cross country skiing. Wifi streaming This 2 bedroom, one bath cabin is 3 miles away from Big Lake which has boating, swimming, skateboard park, exercise circuit and playground.

winter rates = no boat & no lake garage or dock * starts mid sept. (Pontoon not available after Sept 30 2026 for season) NO parties allowed. 3 bed 2 bath lake home on Rush Lake. Rush Lake is connected to Julia and Briggs approx 1000 acre of lake to cruise on the included pontoon with your stay! There is no pontoon or dock with winter rates. Sleeps 6. If pontoon were to break and not be available , deduction of 75 $ per day of stay will be deducted as when renting out stuff, it does happen.

Our Studio

Welcome to Big Lake/Monticello! Our one bedroom studio is fully equipped for your stay. Private screen porch, separate, private entrance, full kitchen and walk in shower. Ample parking. We provide a few light breakfast items such as coffee, juice, milk. We will re-supply coffee, tea, bottled water. After one week, paper products are your responsibility We do offer a variety of snack items as well. *note: Minnesota weather is unpredictable. No guarantee porch is “open”until May 1.

This comfortable space sits on a three acre hobby farm. Enjoy the quiet nature sounds and play with some sweet goats! Then you can sit around the campfire in the evening and relax. This has a queen bed, twin trundle bed and comfy couch for sleeping. In the kitchenette there is a full size fridge, a two burner stove, microwave, coffee pot, blender and a toaster/pizza/convection oven. There is a homeschool group that uses the connected party room/shop on Wednesday mornings.

This beautiful little cabin sits on the water edge on Indian Lake. Great Lake to fish on. There is a swimming raft that you can swim to along with a paddle boat. Great access to snowmobile trails. This is a small place on a septic system. Not far from Annandale or Maple Lake . 2 vehicle parking. Please note docks come out of water labor day weekend each year. Pontoon rental $200 per day with Gas, $50 cleaning fee if not clean. Fish house rental available.
