Jeannette loved Shetland and the restoration and refurbishment of the then-derelict Weaving Shed was carried out in her memory by the current owner, her partner Geoff. The studio apartment was designed as a simple retreat for creative writers and artists and is available to individuals and couples.

There's a well equipped kitchen with a pully for drying clothes and also a good size living room. Mavine Cottage is a great base from which to explore all Shetland has to offer.
