Castle by the creek

If you like country settings, trout fishing, nature watching and diverse wildlife, this is the place for you! This beautiful home was originally hand built in 1850, rebuilt by the same family in 2024. The home is within feet of the Big Spring creek, which is a 6-mile-long limestone creek, emptying into the Condoguinet creek, Known for its class A brook and rainbow trout. Fly fishing, or any tackle type are welcome to enjoy this haven! Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay.

Freshly renovated in 2025, this suite is right in the heart of downtown Shippensburg, in a relaxed setting. It has a nice private yard bordered by greenery. It is located 1/2 mi. from Shippensburg University, and less than 40 minutes from Gettysburg. The suite is part of a larger Victorian style home that was built in 1893. It has tons of charm and a lot of nice natural lighting. There are no TV screens but we do have fast WIFI. There is 1 queen and 1 double bed in the suite.
