The magic of the cottage is in the wide windows, through which you can observe the meadow and the sky. You will like it if you want to be in nature and enjoy all the seasons 100% as they are in the countryside. Since the cottage is located in a meadow, you will not be able to drive up to it. You should expect a 5-minute walk - just enough to switch your thoughts from everyday life to relaxation

Train/bus station, cafes/restaurants and most of the tourist attractions are within 5min walk.

When I refurbished the place, my aim was to create a place to relax, read or hideaway to focus on work. Located in the neighbourhood, where all the city life is just a 5-10 minutes walk away and at the same time, it does not feel as city at all as the forest and river walk is just around the corner. I am glad to share it with likeminded travellers and I will be glad to share all those little tips and tricks about places in Cesis, worthwhile to experience - from nature spots to cosy pubs :-)

Cozy holiday house LIELMEŽI located in quiet nature 60km from Riga. Great place to enjoy silence and nature far away from city noises. House has two levels. On the ground floor there is cosy living room with fireplace, kitchen, bathroom and sauna. On the second floor there are 3 bedrooms, a small hall with a balcony and toilet. Each bedroom has two single beds that can be transformed into a double bed. Or alternatively - a double bed in each bedroom can be transformed into 2 single beds.

Our tiny guest house is located 10min walk from the train/bus station in the center of Sigulda. It stands by the beautiful garden next to our family's house. From here, many nature trails are easily accessible on foot or by bike. Come and enjoy the beauty of Sigulda!
