Situated in the lovely village of Portinscale this warm detached family home provides everything you might want to enjoy a stay in the Lake District. We are situated 5 minutes walk from Derwent Water and the Nicol End Marina for kayaking and water activities. Portinscale has a pub that serves food and a cafe. Our favourite eating places nearby are Swinside Inn and the Ivy Restaurant in Braithwaite. Keswick is a mere 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk for eating out, shopping and outdoor sports.

Located amid Low Abbey's woodland, rich with narcissi and bluebells in the spring, adjacent to the old damson orchard, at the end of Hadrian's Wall. A truly luxurious shepherd's hut with all amenities for a great rural stay.

Welcome to Spindrift Cottage our lovely self catering holiday cottage one mile from Silloth on the Solway Coast, just a five minute walk down the lane opposite will take you to the beach with views over the sea to Scotland. The cottage is comfy and well equipped, double bed downstairs, lounge and kitchen, at the front is a cottage garden and to the rear a shared garden, we have parking. There's walks to do over the green and prom or beaches, and places to visit locally.

Switch off in quiet Bassenthwaite village in peaceful valley between lake & mighty Skiddaw mountain, 15 mins from popular market town Keswick - enjoy an open fire, Sun Inn pub 2 mins away (booking recommended), walks for all abilities (many from the door) & our runner ducks - if you want quieter lakes, villages & towns or the most popular locations, all accessible. 12 noon checkout on Sundays after 2 night weekends. The cottage is called Jemima Puddle Duck Cottage.

The Shed has been custom built, in the paddock, near my small barn conversion. It has a homely atmosphere, with vintage furnishings and up-cycled items. Where possible I’ve tried to be eco friendly. This is a quiet, tranquil place with beautiful views of the Scottish hills beyond the Solway Firth. It’s part of a small hamlet and my former family farm. Animals are often kept in the fields next to The Shed. You’ll experience stunning sunsets and starry skies.

The Old Byre

The Old Byre, luxury 5* barn conversion with Gold award. Ideally situated on the edge of the Lake District National Park and The Solway Coast AONB Two bedroom cottage with family bathroom, ideal for couples or families. Yet again everything you need smart tv, microwave, oven, fridge, kettle, toaster this one even has a dishwasher, lovely Belfast sink with wooden worktops. it also has a sofa bed so can sleep 4. There is also a large private decking area with its very own hot tub and barbecue.

Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this newly built wooden pod provides a comfortable, warm and cosy stay for people looking for a countryside retreat to relax and unwind in. Situated on Castletown Estate you can walk out of the garden gate and straight onto the river side with access to walks not publicly available.

Toddell Barn

Toddell Barn forms part of our traditional Lakeland longhouse farm, built in approximately 1710. Toddell Barn sits within approximately 7 acres of agricultural land that helps attract a wide variety of wildlife. Toddell Barn is located in the hamlet of Brandlingill (2 miles south of Cockermouth) and is within the northern boundary of The Lake District National Park, categorised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2017.
