Casa da Encosta - Hillside cabin near the sea

Casa da Encosta is located in the picturesque Aldeia do Penedo, on the hills of Sintra facing the Atlantic. The nearby beaches (Adraga, Praia Grande, Praia das Maçãs and others) are just 5 km away. This two bedroom house (plus a mezzanine) dates from the 1930’s and was passionately renovated in 2023 by Katrin Kaasa and Duarte Amaral Netto, your hosts. The house maintains the spirit of a cabin (low ceiling in the kitchen and some doors) but was carefully designed for comfort and stylish details.

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Our 2 tiny houses are in the midst of agricultural landscapes on a horse farm 400 meters from one of the best surf beaches around. The container unit is private only for you. Its entrance is via the the subroom. This sunroom, as well as laundry space, garden and backoffice / storage space is shared with the other unit (2pax) Our local community also offers a small local beach bar, a pizza place and a micro brewery & hamburger restaurant.

A charming 3 bedroom apartment with private garden and entrance in the center of Sintra. The apartment has high ceilings, is full of light and tastefully decorated. The outside garden/pateo allows for alfresco dining and lounging. The location is very central, walking distance to all amenities. It occupies the whole 1st floor of a midcentury villa and benefits from a private garden/pateo and entrance on the ground floor. Parking is free and relatively easy on the street or adjacent ones.

The villa can accommodate max 4 adults + 2 children (12 + above). 2 bedrooms (queen and kings size), 2 bathrooms. 5 minutes walk from Sintra Station. It offers a private outdoor pool (for guests' use on the booking only), with a private fruit garden. Views include mountain views of the Moorish Castle. Central and within walking distance to many cafes, shops and restaurants

OUTPOST - Ocean Casitas One of the four Ocean Casitas, at the very top of the whitewashed fishermen's village of Azenhas do Mar with a large private terrace right to the edge of the cliff. 

 Originally traditional fishermen’s homes, the casitas have been carefully rebuilt to combine their original charm with contemporary design, including open layouts, micro-cement floors and ceilings up to 5 meters high. A calm, stylish space designed for a relaxed coastal stay.

A Casa do Anjo - Beach House é uma moradia térrea e moderna, com três quartos, totalmente mobilada e equipada, situada entre a Praia das Maçãs e a vila das Azenhas do Mar. TODA A CASA TEM VISTA PARA O MAR. Uma breve caminhada de 7 minutos leva-o à Praia das Maçãs, uma das praias mais conhecidas de Sintra que atrai famílias e surfistas durante todo o ano. Poderá também chegar facilmente e rapidamente (10 minutos de caminhada), à charmosa vila das Azenhas do Mar.

Tucked away in the quiet neighborhood of old Sintra is our little house of vines. With original finishes from the 1890s and views of the Moorish castle from the bedroom’s south-facing balcony, you’ll be immersed in Sintra's idyllic village. Centrally located, we’re just around the corner from some of the best restaurants and cafes in town, and only a 3 minute walk from the train station to Lisbon. There is also free parking on the street in front of the house.

La Galette - The Windmill

Located in the heart of Sintra-Cascais National Park, The Windmill features 1 double bedroom, 1 living area with television, 1 fully equipped kitchen, 1 bathroom and a garden with private swimming pool (3m x 2m), lounge area, barbecue, eating area & hammock. The beach is located in a 3 min drive, while Sintra historic center is reachable in a 12 min drive. Lisbon airport is located in a 35 min drive. The property was fully renovated, opening on May 2023

Sintra Viscount Apartment - Private Terrace

Totally renovated in November 2023, this modern apartment is located in Sintra village (UNESCO World Heritage), close to various attractions such as Quinta da Regaleira, within just 1 km away, 5 minutes by car from the National Palace of Pena, and 7-minute walk from the historical center with plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops. It's also a 15-minute walk from the train station. Free Street Parking available 160 meters away.
