'Garn Yam' is tucked away up a quiet lane where we have a dedicated car parking space on the road by the cottage just in front of the grassed communal area , with Ambleside just being a short 2 minute walk away

Carr Crag Pavilion is one of two rather special, architect designed semi-detached retreats located at the foot of the Langdale Valley set in an acre of woodland gardens, awash with bluebells in the Spring and visited by a variety of wildlife including deer, rabbits, woodpeckers. Enjoy a riverside walk along the Brathay to Elterwater and Loughrigg Tarn, stopping off for refreshments at the renowned Chesters By The River for tea and cake, or something stronger at the nearby Talbot Bar.
