This converted farmhouse is located in Kawakami Village, the source of the Yoshino/Kino river. The house sits just above an idyllic swimming spot, perfect for families to enjoy the cool, clear waters Guests will have the full property to themselves, which includes a handmade cedar bathtub with views across the river. There is also outdoor space to enjoy barbecuing under the stars.

SOBOA is a private villa in the mountain village of Murō, Uda, Nara—reserved for one group per day. Newly renovated, it sleeps up to 7. Free pick-up to the nearest station. Close to Murō-ji Temple, Ryuketsu Shrine, and Muro Sanjō Art Forest. The name “SOBOA” comes from “asobo,” meaning play—offering a relaxing escape from daily life. Breakfast is included. Dinner by reservation (¥4,000/person) features our home-grown vegetables and local Uda beef. Free parking & Wi-Fi.

A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!

Our house is traditional Japanese style house. 150 years old and in a very quiet location. We are renting house. Not shared with other guests. There are 2 bedrooms(Tatami-room) and 1 living room, gameroom, bathroom, shower toilet, all of the room are only for you. *Children is free of charge if your children don't need a bed and break fast. There are air conditioners in bedroom and livingroom.
