2023年に新しくオープンしました！ 場所は和歌山県の高野山で、天空の聖地と呼ばれ、標高900mほどの峰々に囲まれた山上盆地であり、町全体が世界遺産にも登録されています。 10年以上の高野山でのゲストハウス（Koyasan guesthouse Kokuu）の運営の経験を生かし、新たなチャレンジとして高野山内では初めての一棟の貸しを開始しました。 この宿は元々長年使われていなかったガレージをリノベーションしたもので、「山に籠るように過ごしてほしい」という思いから山籠（さんろう）と名付けました。この宿を隠れ家のようなものとして、選りすぐりの民芸品や器も楽しんでいただけるようにと思いを込めています。 一日一組限定で、完全にプライベートな空間と時間を提供します。友達や家族、カップルなど最大4名まで宿泊が可能で、自分とひたすら向き合う時間に、大切な人と思い出深い時間をお過ごしください。※宿泊中は完全に貸切状態で、他のゲストはいません。 チェックインはテンキーでの入館になりますが、入館後必ずホストが直接ご挨拶に伺い、施設案内、高野山の観光案内を致します。その他、滞在中は何でもご相談ください

"Kaze no Niwa"/retreat/Japanese traditional house

This is a traditional Japanese house built in the countryside of Iga, the home of the ninja. Although you can come by public transportation, it is more convenient to come by car as it is quite a rural area. The hot spring is 5 minutes by car. It takes 20 minutes by car to the castle town of Iga Ueno. 25 minutes to Mokumoku Farm. 30 minutes to Igayaki no Sato. 45 minutes to Suzuka Circuit. 50 minutes to Akame Shijuhachi Falls National Park. 1 hour to Ise Jingu. 1 hour to Horyuji Temple.

A Satoyama Private Retreat in Nara

A private Satoyama retreat in the mountains of Nara, just 20 minutes from the city. This traditional one-group-per-day house is renovated with reclaimed wood and uses fresh mountain spring water. HoToLo was honored to cooperate as a filming location for NHK’s drama “Radio Star,” which started on March 30. HoToLo appeared in Episode 22 and will also appear in the episodes airing on May 18 and 19. As early summer arrives, Soni Village is filled with fresh greenery and glowing fireflies. Our house is traditional Japanese style house. 150 years old and in a very quiet location. We are renting house. Not shared with other guests. There are 2 bedrooms(Tatami-room) and 1 living room, gameroom, bathroom, shower toilet, all of the room are only for you. *Children is free of charge if your children don't need a bed and break fast. There are air conditioners in bedroom and livingroom.
