StoepStil

StoepStil is a 2-bedroom self-catering farm stay designed for 2 couples or a family of 4 with older kids (>12yrs). It’s unconventional, a little quirky, and full of charm. Perfect for those with a love of the outdoors & a sense of adventure. At the heart of this unit? A spacious stoep (patio) - the central space where everything flows & where guests can truly slow down & reconnect. This is not glamping (there’s no tent, no campsite). Just a fully equipped cottage with a fresh, open-air twist.

Enjoy a stay in a 1973 converted school bus that has all the comforts of home and touches of luxury. Self-contained accommodation for two in the bushveld with magnificent views and the sounds of nature. All of this is situated in agricultural lands, 15 minutes away from the centre of Nelspruit. The hosts have 4 large dogs that are well socialised and enjoy meeting new people. The property is a self-sustaining homestead where the hosts grow their own vegetables, farm honey and produce eggs.

Enjoy complete privacy and stunning mountain views in this cozy retreat for 2 adults and 2 children. The unit includes linen and towels, a gas stove and oven, medium fridge/freezer, and a closed combustion wood stove. Relax under the thatched roof with misters, soak in the outdoor hot water bath, or enjoy evenings around the fire pit. Private ablutions, solar lights, a gas geyser, and running water complete this peaceful off-grid escape.

She has traveled all the way from the USA to proudly choose her final destination in sunny South Africa. Just an hour’s drive from Johannesburg, she is perfect for a magical quick getaway. The communal Lapa has free WiFi, a pool table and spaces in which to braai. Kayaking and swimming is available in our gorgeous farm dam, or take an easy walk to the nearby waterfall to cool down there.
