Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This 500 square foot cabin is conveniently located off 1-94 Exit 22, it seems like a world away from the hustle and bustle, yet close to everything. Built in the 1930's or 1940's I have kept the wonderful original woodwork, but updated the cottage with a new bathroom and a complete kitchen. Steps away from the Michigan State Park of Grande Mere known for its miles of trails through the woods, dunes, inland lakes, and access to Lake Michigan.

Welcome to your home away from home that we lovingly call the Moon Barn. We are situated in between South Haven and Saugatuck just a mile away from a hiking trail with public access to a Lake Michigan beach. Our home was built in remembrance of a family barn that sat on this location generations ago. It has natural barn wood and art works integrated throughout the house. Downstairs has a complete kitchen, dining area, spacious living room with a gas fire place, full bathroom, and a piano!

Follow a wooded path to a secluded mid-century modern cottage constructed of stone and wood reclaimed wood from a historic St Joe's rollercoaster. Retro pink ceramic tiles line an open-plan main floor surrounded by sliding doors. You will be surrounded by the great outdoors while sitting cozy inside by our electric fireplace. Located about 10 minutes south of downtown St. Joe, our Idyllic A-frame is a perfect location for the escape to SW Michigan that you've been dreaming about.

Cabin in the Woods

The cabin is nestled to the back of the 3.6 acres of a private wooded land with a short walk to the all sport lake. The updated home features two bedrooms, sleeping loft, family room, washer/dryer, all the amenities of home. Enjoy the 160 ft of lakefront off our private dock. We have 2 kayaks, a Canoe and a small fishing boat, floaties and life vests for boating or swimming. Enjoy a day at the lake, cook dinner on one of our grills and enjoy the evening by the firepit.

Riverview Cabin is a bright riverfront studio retreat on 150 shared acres, perfect for couples or small families. Sleeps up to 4 with a king bed, futon, full kitchen, Smart TV, Wi-Fi, and a jacuzzi tub with scenic views. Relax on the private deck, gather around the fire pit, or explore 2.3 miles of riverfrontage, wooded trails, fishing ponds, and wildlife. The main residence is approximately 400 feet from the cabin. The cabin is secluded and yet close to local attractions, restaurants, biking and nature trails. The Cabin has a total of 420 sq ft living space with 280 sq ft on the ground floor and a 140 sq ft bedroom loft.
