Located in West Hobart, we are a short 8 minute drive to the Salamanca water front. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

Our architect designed, garden roof cabin was built in 2020 to take in views across they valley to knocklofty. North facing the sun warms this house with the passive solar design maintaining a steady temperature. To complement this there is a wood fire for grey days and a sliding door and bifold windows for hot ones. Ply lining and exposed rafters give the house a cabin feel creating a retreat feeling. Different outdoor spaces provide great options to soak in the sun and neighbourhood.

Jan's Studio has a cosy queen sized bed, and a small lounge-kitchen space equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. There is WiFi and off-street parking. The space is a separate dwelling looking onto a beautiful garden. It is set in a peaceful neighbourhood and is a short walk to local parks, cafes, and restaurants. Jan's studio lies at the foot of kunanyi/Mount Wellington, and is less than 3 km to Hobart and Salamanca, with its popular Saturday market.

Enjoy your own private garden with mountain views, in bushland surrounds with easy access to walking and mountain bike trails. 5 minute drive to the village of South Hobart where there are plenty of local eateries, cafe's, bars and food stores. The Cascade Brewery bar and gardens is just down the road. It's only 10 minutes drive to the CBD, or take the bus directly to the Hobart CBD or South Hobart Village.
