One of a small collection, it is set in an idyllic location just minutes from the 3 mile beach at Saunton Sands and close to the South West Coast Path which travels a scenic path along the Taw Estuary to Instow. Middle Thorne is the middle lodge of the three on the right side of the site.

Easy access to the hiking trails of the Brecon Beacons and only minutes from the main A40 access road. The perfect location for walkers, birdwatchers and fishermen. For cyclists the renowned Black Mountain begins 500 metres from the gate. Cars and motorcycles have plenty of room to park.
