We are located close to the Peak District, with Chatsworth House not far away. It is surrounded by Oakerthrope Nature Reserve and is perfect for those wanting to explore Derbyshire. We live next door and there are friendly cats and a dog that live on the property. *please note Hot Tub needs to be booked BY THE GUEST DIRECTLY with ‘Midland Hot Tub Hire’ for price, to arrive at the property the day before arrival to be filled and heated by host. A pretty stone built quaint cottage located a few minutes walk from the centre of Matlock with Victorian pubs, restaurants and antique shops on the edge of the Peak District national park. Full of character & charm, it boasts antique furniture, has a lovely living area, spacious double bedroom, en suite bathroom. Newly fitted modern kitchen with all amenities. Tastefully furnished throughout, it offers a mixture of old and new. A perfect romantic retreat, walkers paradise, outdoor activities.

lime tree cottage is a band new barn convention with its own private hot tub, this very equipped cottage sleeps 2 and a infant or a camp bed is available on request. This spacious little cottage has a king size bed, bathroom with a shower, sink and w/c. In the lounge we have a 55” smart tv and beautiful views down the valley. The kitchen is well equipped for everything you would need, also has a dishwasher and washing machine. There are some beautiful walks and pubs in walking distance.

There are many walks from the door and 150 yards along the lane is The White Hart Inn where you will experience good food or just enjoy a well-deserved glass of wine. The Conkers delightful garden and orchard area provides a lovely spot for a relaxing drink, or perhaps some alfresco dining after a busy day exploring. There is ample off road secure parking behind automated gates.

The Annexe to Belle Vue House was built for Servants to the main house in 1823. The grade 2 listed building commands an elevated position overlooking Matlock Bath. The property has been lovingly updated to keep period features while providing modern living. The property is accessible via a flight of stone stairs from the lower drive way. Due to the period nature and historic listing road side parking is necessary.

The cottage is located in what us locals call the 'town end' and the prime location to enjoy walks and everything that the village has to offer.
