Pluck lemons from the tree and pick herbs from the planters for use in a tasty dish to enjoy in the cool and shaded courtyard. The bright and airy cottage interior has high vaulted ceilings, together with a selection of books and magazines to read to enjoy in the bed made up with 400TC luxury linen. Battery backed up Wi-Fi and additional lights for surviving load shedding. No smoking allowed on property. Guests have own cottage with a private, shady courtyard. Herbs in planters in courtyard and dart board are available for guests to use as well as lemons on own lemon tree. We're an international family consisting of a South African, a New Zealander and a Norwegian. One of us will always be available on our phones and we're happy to chat and share a G&T on our porch if our guests are up for it! This guesthouse is in a quiet neighbourhood, about 15 minutes by car from town and near to vibrant Harfield. Closer still, the village offers a farm stall, butchery, and supermarket within a short walk, plus coffee shops and lots of restaurants. We always recommend uber for short term stays in Cape Town but there is an off-street sheltered parking available if needs be. 10 minute walk to Kenilworth train station and 2 minute walk from Main Road with frequent taxi buses in both directions. Servicing of cottage and laundry can be done on request. Continental breakfast can be provided on request.

We have an inverter that covers the security system and cameras + the WIFI, TV, stove and oven and all the lights and most of the plugs during load shedding. The little Guinea fowl Cottage is part of a high security villa located in the select Upper Constantia area. Set at the foot of the densely forested eastern slopes of Table Mountain, the property is half surrounded by the Green Belt, opposite to Cecelia Forest and less than 2km away from the world famous Kirstenbosch Garden.

Relax in our lovely garden cottage with a glass of wine and take in the view of Table Mountain . We are a short drive from the world famous Kirstenbosch Gardens . Numerous hiking and mountain biking trails crisscross the area. We are surrounded by numerous spectacular wine farms and top restaurants. Groot Constantia, Klein Constantia, Constantia Glen, Beau Constantia including Chefs Warehouse, to name but a few. We are a 20 minute drive to the Waterfront and Cape Town CBD.

Add a log to the wood stove and curl up on a comfy couch to stay warm and snug on chilly nights. In the morning explore stunning hiking trails, golf courses, wineries, restaurants and all that vibrant Constantia has to offer. We offer guests considerable relief from the effects of scheduled power blackouts (load shedding). Our solar PV panels charge backup batteries which provide emergency power for lighting, WiFi, TV and electronics during blackouts.

Enjoy a peaceful stay surrounded by a green belt and mountains. Central to lots of activities such as hikes/walks, wine farms, local restaurants and shops. We have many pets on the property, 4 friendly dogs which is, 1 ridgeback, 1 Labrador and 2 medium mixed breeds, 3 cats and 2 bunnies. It is very family friendly, but also perfect for a relaxing getaway. There is parking on the premises. Regarding safety, we have a security guard on our road.

Perched on the Muizenberg Mountain-side, the Owl House offers guests a unique garden stay with a distinct tree-house feel and is a short walk away from the buzz of Muizenberg village and its famous beachfront. The self-contained 30m2, solar-powered bungalow is separate from the main house, with a kitchenette, work and dining space, & uncapped fibre, making it perfect for WFH.

A modern and beautifully decorated house, nestled in Hout Bay, with magnificent views of the mountain. This is a great place for singles or a couple. There is a queen bed that sleeps up to 2. Power outages are being experienced by SA but we have tried to minimalise the effect for our guests - the oven/stove is gas, the hot water is gas, the internet is solar driven and we have 2 battery lights for guests use.

It is an open plan area, therefore recommended for a maximum of 2 adults.
